This
present age of grace. The Church began on the Day of Pente- cost and
will be completed at the
Rapture. The Church is composed of all who trust in Jesus
Christ
for forgive- ness and eternal life during this present era. One enters the Church by admitting his sin, under- standing that the wages of sin is death, realizing that Jesus paid his death penalty for him, and trusting in Jesus alone for forgiveness and eternal life. |
The next event on the prophetic calendar. The Rapture is imminent - could happen any time. Jesus will return for His bride, the Church, in mid-air. Dead Church-Age believers will be resurrected. Living believers will be transformed without dying into resurrected, immortal people, free of moral or spiritual defect! | A 7-year time period begun when a charismatic world leader from Europe "solves" the Arab-Israeli conflict. Half-way through he double-crosses both sides, gains power over the whole world. God pours out His wrath on the earth with terrible plagues. Ends with the battle of Arma- geddon. | Jesus will return to earth as the Jewish and world Messiah (Anointed King). Many Jews and Gentiles will have trusted in Jesus. He will destroy the earth's armies gathered to destroy Israel and Himself. He will judge every living person and destroy all who have not accepted His sacrificial death on the cross and resurrection for their sin and have thus failed to submit to His rule. | Having judged and destroyed all His enemies, Jesus will reign as King of Israel and King of the world. Satan will be bound, unable to deceive the world, so righteousness and justice will prevail. Peace will prevail between all nations and between man and the animal kingdom. Longevity will increase dramatically. | At the end of 1000 years of unprecedented peace and prosperity, God will release Satan. Believers in Christ will have given birth to children who conform outwardly to the King, but inwardly their hearts will not be with Him. Satan will deceive them; they will revolt against Jesus, and will be destroyed. To purify the universe, God will terminate the existing earth and heavens in a fiery explosion! | The unbe- lieving dead of all ages will be resurrected. The existing universe having been destroyed, the dead will stand before Jesus, the Judge, without material support. Sadly, because of their failure to trust God and Jesus, His sacrifice for their sins will do them no good, and they will be consigned forever to the Lake of Fire, which is the Second Death. | Having eradicated all sin, corruption, death, and decay, God will create a New Heaven and Earth in which only righteous- ness dwells. The saved of all ages will live in resurrection bodies on a pristine earth with access to the New Jeru- salem, the New Earth's Capital of unparalleled beauty and size. Evidently Israel and the Church will inhabit the capital city, which either orbits the earth or comes to rest on it. In the new universe death will have been destroyed and all tears wiped away. |
