Independent Bible Study

by James T. Bartsch

"But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. The Lord is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." 2 Peter 3:8-9

Whom Does God Save and How?

     Part Six
Part Two

Introduction: I recently received an email from a friend who has been struggling with a brand of theology that, in this friend's view, takes a repugnant stance on God's attitude toward the lost. Rather than debate peoples' names and positions, I thought it would be far more helpful if I supply this friend with Scripture references on the topic and allow a self-study. I would rather study Scripture myself than study what other people think about Scripture. Hopefully, my friend will find this study rewarding. I have the same hope for the reader.
