X-Ray. What John’s Gospel is like in
its representation of Jesus
Christ.
Matthew is like a
portrait painter who portrays Jesus as King of the Jews. Mark is like a journalist
who takes digital snapshots of Jesus. Luke is a physician who is like
a writer/producer who carefully researches and produces a full-length
motion-picture of Jesus. The first three gospels are said to be
“Synoptics,” in
that they see together or similarly about Jesus. John is the most
unique gospel
writer. He gives us a deeper, more theological representation of Jesus,
much as
an X-Ray or Cat Scan or MRI would do. If you have difficulty locating a file, please contact the Web Master. Background and Button Image Credit Updated
